Like a present in your in-box, some of your favorite apps have received an update thanks to Creative Cloud. Below is the list but I wanted to highlight some of the updates specific to web designers. Typekit desktop fonts and linked images in Photoshop. Live corners in Illustrator. The highlights are listed below and the video shows how to use them.
Photoshop CC Update
- Perspective Warp - Change the perspective of images. Whether it’s for manipulating perspective of one image or compositing multiple.
- Linked Smart Objects - Link Illustrator or other files from Photoshop so your files are always up-to-date.
- New 3D printing features – Print 3D objects or send to a 3D service bureau for output.
Illustrator CC Update
- Live Corner Controls – Create editable rounded corners.
- Rebuilt Pencil Tool - Path Segment Reshape feature and more intuitive use.
- Export responsive SVG code and graphics that resize when viewed on multiple screens.
New in InDesign CC
- EPUB 3.0 Support – provides new ways to add interactivity to eBooks.
- Enhancements to hyperlink creation and editing speed up the creation of EPUBs, PDFs, and iPad apps.
- Pop-up footnotes streamline the EPUB reading experience, and support for Japanese, Hebrew and Arabic text.
