As you probably know, Apple’s iPad tablet goes on sale tomorrow as well as many other tablets and smartphones becoming available or are already available. The issue (and opportunity) from a designer/developer standpoint is how create and monetize apps across screens without reinventing the wheel every time. Well, Adobe Creative Suite 5 and Flash Player 10.1 has got your back.
Adobe today announced that more than 100 AIR apps, coming out of a limited pre-release program with developers, are available on Apple’s App Store.  Created with Flash Pro CS5 and wrapped as native apps (via the Packager for the iPhone, a capability of AIR 2), AIR apps can be distributed to the iPhone and Apple’s tablet today, and Android, BlackBerry and other platforms in the coming months.  Check out these two videos for more info:
