Technically I won’t get installed, because as a designer all I would do is change your desktop background. Instead, as of this week I’m officially part of the Adobe Flash Platform Evangelist team. I’ll be joining the North American team with some other outstanding guys like Kevin Hoyt, Ryan Stewart, Terry Ryan, Lee Brimelow, and Renaun Erickson. All great guys and I feel honored to be part of such a dynamic and varied team.
Each evangelist of course has certain strengths, myself included. I’ve spent the past 13 years doing interactive design and development for various agencies while spending all my vacation time teaching and presenting Flash technologies anywhere and everywhere. I won’t bore you with my bio so lets just say that I’m really looking forward to supporting the community that has supported me for all these years. Needless to say my wife is also really excited because it means she’ll finally get a vacation.
There are many exciting things ahead so stay tuned as I’ll be speaking at various events, blogging, doing tutorials etc. So feel free to follow me on twitter as I’ll probably post updates there first. Since I’m on the inside you could end up with some inside information as well.
